Madison has always been our animal lover. She even got a new fish tank for her birthday. We put her male and female beta in there to "live happily ever after." Well, it turns out that they were not meant to be. The male picked on the female until she died and then, in turn, died himself. Madison was glad about that because he was such a meanie.
So after Christmas we got her two goldfish, and one has already died. AHHH! What should a mother do? Do I go down to McKee's and get another one and not even tell her? Most goldfish look the same anyway. Or do I tell her the truth and let her cry it out? What would you do?
Well, I decided to let life take it's course and tell her the truth. She has since recovered and is ready to go get another. Good thing these guys are only 20 cents.

I'm mean...Natalie won goldfish last year at the school carnival and I told her flat out they would die in a couple of days...sure enough :). Telling the truth is always best. Ask Chris about the "story" her parents told her about her cat when she was on her mission lol!
